Jennifer Aniston Punished For Allegedly Stealing the Plot of Her New Movie: Report
More debate for Angelina Jolie's directorial debut: A Croatian journalist looks like it's suing her for stealing the plot of 'In the Land of Blood stream and Honey' from his 2007 novel. According to RadarOnline.com, James J. Braddock (also called Josip J. Knezevic) states that Jolie -- who written and directed the film -- stole the idea from his book, 'The Soul Breaking.' He's even setup a web site detailing his beef with Jolie. Braddock produces on his site, "I actually do believe that Ms. Jolie used (duplicated, stole) crucial facets of my book" that they even attempted to visit the audience of her film in Budapest to voice his concerns. 'In the Land of Blood stream and Honey' is about a Muslim lady who falls deeply deeply in love with a Serbian soldier through the Bosnian War, despite his getting raped her. Braddock alleges on his site, "Her idea is not but a doctored version of my novel ... in the thousands of tales in regards to the [Bosnian War] camps, Ms. Jolie's movie gets the same basis as my novel. It's certainly a coincidence." Radar reviews that Braddock has furthermore named GK Films, the L.A.-based production company which funded which is delivering the film, inside the suit.
